Northeast of Fort Worth, and only 20 minutes from the DFW International Airport, Haltom offers quick access to a number of popular commuter highways, including I-820, SH 121, US 377 and SH 26, and I-35W. Business is the order of the day here, with a number of industrial businesses located here. It also seems that the city is interested in making sure that its workforce is educated and ready to contribute to the city’s economy. The Haltom City Economic Development Corporation has partnered with Tarrant County College Northeast to renovate the Haltom City Civic Center to provide continuing education classes that will emphasize courses relevant to area business and student needs.
